Davis Albert Edward
L.A.C. A. E. DAVIS, BURNIE The death occurred on Sundav in the Heidelberg Military Hospital (Vic.) of L.A.C. Albert Edward Davis, at the age of 45. The late Mr Davis was formerly a transport officer stationed at the Burnie Police Office. Subsequently he was for some months National Service Officer at Burnie, and later he enlisted in the R.A.A.F. He had been seriously ill for six months. About four months ago his wife and young family left Burnie to reside on the mainland to be near him. He was respected for the capable manner in which he performed his official duties, and had a wide circle of friends. Advocate Burnie 28 Feb 1945 DAVIS-On February 25, at Heidelberg Military Hospital, Vic., L.A.C. Albert Edward Davis, dearly loved husband of Ruby and loving son of Mrs. M. Davis, View Road, Burnie, and brother of Mrs. D. Beaumont, Cooee, and Mrs. H. Macnamara, Vic.; aged 45 years.
