Dolan Vernon George

 

Mrs V. G. Dolan, Kempton, has received advice that her husband, Pte Vernon George Dolan, died of illness in a Japanese prison camp.

Pte Dolan played football with the Tunnack club. He was aged 32 years and was a member of the 2/40th Battalion.

died of illness , in prisoner-of-war camp in Japanese hands, dearly beloved husband of Molly Dolan daddy of Yvonne of Kempton third son of the late George Ambrose and Annie Dolan, of Tunnack, and loving brother of Oscar (Claremont), Mervyn, Catherine (Mrs Webster), Corrie (Mrs O'Conor), Myra (Mrs Lane), all of Tunnack, Dulcie (Mrs Barrenger, St Leonards), and Leo (White Hills) Requiescat in pace..
