Donald Ernest James
Born 10 May 1917 at Westbury Tasmania the son of Arthur Norman and Florence Evelyn Donald (nee Harris) Pte Donald was a labourer before he enlisted in the A.I.F Mrs E. F. Donald Carrick has been advised of the death of her son, Sig E. Donald, at No.2 AGH. Sig Donald served with the AIF in Greece, Crete, and the Libyan campaign, and was home on short leave before he was to be sent to New Guinea. The Mercury 17 Feb 1944
