Drew Bernard Charles
Born 15 Oct 1917 Tea Tree Tasmania to Alexander William John and Florence Mirian Drew (nee Hardwicke)Pte Drew was a labourer before he enlisted in the 2/40 Australian Infantry Battalion. The Mercury 7th June 1945 DREW-Pte Bernard Charles, died whilst a prisoner of war in Thailand on July 26, 1943, in his 26th year, dearly beloved son of Alexander and Florence Drew and grandson of the late George Hardwick. Tea Tree (AIF).
