Duggan Bernard Leo

Born 5^th August 1913 264 Harrington Street North Hobart to John Edward and Maud Gertrude Duggan (nee Plummer)

Cpl Duggan was the cameraman on board Beaufort A9-480 which took off from Vivigani Airfield on Goodenough Island on the 5^th March 1944 and had only travelled two miles when it crashed for no apparent reason killing all five on board.

It was a night take off flying into haze and it was later thought the pilot had become disorientated.
