Duggan Maxwell George
Born 12 Mar 1917 at 364 Murray St Hobart the son of Lewis Montreal and Helen Mary Duggan he was a fitter before enlisting in the RAAF Was a member of 455 squadron, repatriated back to Australia from overseas and admitted to the Heidelberg Hospital. He was on leave in Tasmania when he took ill and died at the 41st Camp Hospital, Hobart. DIED OF WOUNDS LAC Maxwell George Duggan, RAAF, who after years of service, died at Hobart of wounds received while on active service abroad. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Lewis Duggan, Lindisfarne, and his wife (formerly Miss Nancye Free, of Rokeby) lives in Hobart. The Mercury 7 June 1943
