Fenton Maxwell William

Born 12^th August 1911 Christmas Hills Tasmania to Lewis and Ketha Alice Fenton (nee Ralston) he enlisted at Burnie on the 22^nd October 1941 and was posted to the 2/29 Australian Infantry Battalion.

He was a prisoner of war in Burma where he became ill with dysentery and died in Bruce Hunt’s hospital camp.

He is commemorated in the Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery.
