Filbee John Stevenson

 

 

Pte Filbee of Sydney and formerly of Queenstown and Hobart was killed in action in New Guinea on Sept 12, 1943. He served with the 9th Division in the Middle East and was  wounded at Tobruk. He was the eldest son of Mrs Helen Filbee of Sydney formerly of Hobart and Queenstown, and the late Mr Stephen Filbee. He is survived by his wife, a son, who is a member of the AIF, and a daughter.
