Findlay Dick Ronald

 

Born 15th December 1918 East Devonport Tasmania to McGregor and Amy Elizabeth Findlay (nee Casey).

He was with the 2/26 Battalion and a prisoner of war in Malaya when he became ill and died of peri carditis.

FINDLAY-TX5648 Pte D. R. Findlay, dearly beloved third son of the late Mr. McGregor Findlay, and Mrs. Amy Findlay of Wesley Vale, and loving brother of Ken (A.I.F.), Peter (A.I.F., Tarakan), Mervyn and Max. Died of illness while P.O.W., July 10, 1944. Aged 27 years. (The Advocate Burnie 4 Oct 1945)
