THREE RAAF AIRCREW KILLED IN ACCIDENT

When an aircraft crashed last Tuesday night during non-operational training exercises at a unit in south eastern Victoria three RAAF aircrew were killed. RAAF headquarters announced on Saturday that those who lost their lives were:

Wing-Cdr Peter Kingsley-Strack, pilot, of Cremorne Sydney; Flt-Sgt Lancelot Lloyd Fitzgerald, wireless air gunner, of Hobart; and Sgt Kenneth William Dobbie, wireless air gunner, of Broken Hill, NSW.

FITZGERALD.-Flt-Sgt Lancelot Lloyd, accidentally killed at East Sale on February 7, 1945, dearly loved second son of Mr and Mrs Roy Fitzgerald, 199 Argyle St., Hobart, and loving brother of Leona, Terry, Pat. Kevin. John, Barry, Blayne, and Peter. RIP.
