Flanagan Andre Lionel

 

 

Born Trinidad West Indies to Clifton and Maud Flanagin he was living at Claremont Tasmania and working as a clerk when he enlisted.  

He had served in the First World War with the Army Medical Corps and with the advent of WW2 he again enlisted and was given the rank of Sgt working in the Records Office in Tasmania.  He died from a heart attack and was buried Cornelian Bay Cemetery

FLANAGIN.-On July 16, 1945, Andre Lionel, beloved husband of Mary Flanagin, of 266 Macquarie St., Hobart. Military interment 17th inst Requiescat in pace.
