French Stanley Lloyd

Informal portrait of friends TX50 Private (Pte) Patrick Joseph Lattin (left) and TX35 Sergeant (Sgt) Stanley Lloyd French, both of the 2/12th Battalion. Lattin of Hobart, Tas was an intelligence specialist for the 2/12 Battalion, 18th Australian Infantry Brigade, and was captured by German forced in Tobruk on 14 May 1941. French of Scottsdale, Tas, was killed in action on 14 April 1941 in Libya.
