Gatenby Norman Roy
Mr and Mrs N. G. Gatenby, Cressy House, have been advised that their second son, Lt N. R. Gatenby, was killed in action in Timor, on Feb. 22, 1942. Lt Gatenby was educated at the Launceston Church Grammar School, and was prominent in school sports. Later he conducted the property Forest Vale. He joined the 22nd Light Horse Regiment in 1936, and was with the 2/40th Battalion when Timor fell. The Mercury 4 Oct 1945
