Gregg Rex Thorpe
Sgt Gregg was born 8 Dec 1918 at the Edinburgh Hospital Hobart to Rupert Thomas and Alice Gregg (nee Thorpe) and was an agriculturalist before enlisting in the 1/12 Australian Infantry Battalion. GREGG Died of wounds on May 3 or 4, 1941, Rex Thorpe (Sgt.), dearly loved elder son of Rupert and Alice Gregg, of York Plains, and loved brother of Ross, in his 23rd year.
