Griggs Colin Dudley

Born 23 Jan 1912 Franklin Tasmania to Leslie Robert and Alma Winnifred Griggs (nee Griggs) He enlisted 27 Jan 1941 and was posted to the 2/24 Australian Infantry Battalion.

The Mercury 6 Jan 1944

GRIGGS.-Killed in action at New Guinea. Colin Dudley (AIF), loved son of Mr and Mrs Les Griggs, of Franklin, and loved brother of Nancy, Max, and Malcolm. His duty nobly done.
