PTE WILLIAM JAMES HALE Who died of illness in a prison camp in Thailand. He was the only son of Mrs R. Simpson, Melbourne, and leaves a wife, Mrs Rose Hale, 105 Park St., Hobart, and four children. He was a brother of Mrs T Waldock, Melbourne. The Mercury 21 July 1945
