KILLED IN ACTION SGT. JOHN FRANCIS HILL A member of the AIF who was killed in action In Java. Prior to enlistment he was employed in the paper pulp industry at Burnie and Boyer. He was a good all- round sportsman, and played with the Australian football teams in Syria. His widow Mrs. Estelle Hill, lives in Hobart The Mercury 17 Mar 1942
