Hudson Maxwell Winston
Born 27th July 1916 Hobart the son of William Thomas and Eliza Grace Hudson (nee Parker)
A.I.F. SOLDIER KILLED IN COLLISION Max Winston Hudson, of Fitzgerald, was killed when the motor cycle he was riding collided with a motor car on the main road two miles past Pontville. It was his first day in the A.I.F. Hudson died shortly after being admitted to the Brighton camp hospital. His body was conveyed to the Hobart mortuary, and an inquest was opened yesterday, before the Coroner (Col. J. P. Clark). Evidence of identification was taken, and the enquiry adjourned to a date to be fixed. Examiner Monday 23 September 1940
