Born 26 Feb 1924 Glenorchy Tasmania to Alfred James and Minna Vera Irwin, he was a painter when he enlisted in the Army and was posted to 6th Aus. Field Regiment

Member of the Forces

IRWIN. -In loving memory of our dear son and our brother, Gnr. Allan James (Jim), died of injuries at Cairns, March 8, 1944.
