Born 21 Nov 1919 Sorell Tasmania enlisted 27 Jan 1941and served just over 12 months with the 2/3 Motor Ambulance Convoy.  He was listed Missing in Action 2 July 1942 before being listed killed in action in Malaya on the 15th Feb 1942  WIGGINS.-In loving memory of our dear son, TX4300 Dvr E. (Ted) Jeffrey, AAMC, killed in action in Malaya, February 15, 1945. Sadly missed.
