World War 11 Casualties

If you could spare a few dollars to help with the running costs of this website would be very much appreciated.

Thank you from Gravesites of Tasmania.

Jordan Victor Keith

Victor Keith Jordan was born 28th. December 1923 at Lindsfarne Tasmania to Albert and Ada Jordan and before he joined the airforce his occupation was given as a Clerk

It was the 13th May 1943 when W2574 with a crew of five took off from Mt. Gambier on a training flight to Nhill.

For some reason the twin engined trainer crashed in fog just eight miles north east of Nhill killing all crew members instantly.  They were later buried at the Nhill cemetery.
