Jory Richard William

 

Born 2 Jan 1918 Zeehan Tasmania to William Arthur and Lucy Jane Jory (nee Clements)

he was living in Launceston with his grandmother Mary Rosina Jory and working as a Mill Hand when he enlisted in the AIF and was posted to 2/43 Battalion. 

He was killed in action in Egypt and is commemorated in the El Alamein War Cemetery, Egypt.
