KEATING.-TX4809 Pte Bruce Edgar Keating,-2/40th Battalion, beloved son of .Mr and Mrs J. Keating, Campania, aged 27 years; died whilst prisoner of -war, result of the torpedoing of a Japanese transport near Nagasaki on June 24, 1944.. Loved by all.

Pte B. E. Keating, son of Mr and Mrs J. Keating, Campania, who is believed to have lost his life about June 20. He and his brother had been prisoners of war for nearly three years. Three members of this family were reported prisoners of war and another brother has been discharged from the fighting forces.
