Klausen John Schow

Born Copenhagen Denmark to Peter Lauritz and Ada Maria Klausen but was married and living at Sorell Tasmania and working as an Insurance Agent when he enlisted in the AIF in Victoria. He is commemorated in the Gaza British War Cemetery

According to a N.S.W. casualty list issued yesterday by Army Headquarters, NX 9773 Lance-Corporal J. S. Klausen (Infantry), of Sorell, Tasmania, has died of wounds.
