(known as ‘Bill’ or ‘Scrub’)

Born Victoria to George Francis and Alice Langford, George had met and married a Tasmanian girl who was living at “Hillcrest” Launceston awaiting the birth of their first child when he met his death aboard HMAS Parramatta.
