Lay Donald William

Born Launceston Tasmania to Thomas Alfred and Olive May Lay he was serving with 100 squadron when the plane he was in crashed on the 9^th January 1943 Milne Bay, Papua and New Guinea.

Sgt Donald William Lay, a wireless air gunner in the RAAF, has been killed in action in New Guinea. Only son of Mr and Mrs T. Lay, of Launceston;' he was aged 20.
