Ledger Eric Bernard

Born 7^th September 1919 Kemly England to Frederick Henry and Ada Ellen Ledger, he was married and living in Hobart when he enlisted in the AIF and was posted to 8 Div. Australian Corps of Signals. 

He was 23 years old and a prisoner of war when he died of illness 15^th August 1943 in Thailand and is commemorated in the Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery.
