Lees Baden Hamilton

 

 

The death occurred at the 111th Australian Military Hospital, following a short illness, of Gnr Baden Hamilton Lees, of Ranelagh, Huon, aged 24 years. He recently arrived home on leave after serving 2 1/2s years in the North.

The funeral was held at the military cemetery. Campbell Town, on Thursday, and was attended by a large number of soldiers The service was conducted by Major Farley, of the Salvation Army.- Launceston. The chief mourners were Mr and Mrs E. J. Lees (parents) Messrs Mons and Angus Lees (brothers). Miss Meryl Lees (sister). Other relatives present were Mr and Mrs M. Lees (Tamar)  Mr Sargison. Miss A. Sargison. Miss R. Milson. Mr and Mrs  Mons Lees (Tamar); and Mr and Mrs Don Lees (Glengarry).

The funeral arrangements were conducted by V. Lockett and Sons. Campbell Town.
