RAAF CRASH

SYDNEY, Tues: Three members of the crew were killed and 8 injured when an aircraft from an RAAF station in NSW crashed yesterday from 200ft while taking off in a training flight. The machine was destroyed. Victims were:

KILLED - Flt-Lt Norman Charles Phillip Blight. 34, single, of Whyalla  (SA); Sgt William Charles Arthur, 35, single, of Prospect (SA) ; Flying Officer Harold Robert Irving Cox, 20, single, of Wollongong (NSW).

SERIOUSLY INJURED - Pilot Officer, Cyril Richard Neil Lewis, 29 single, of Essendon; AC1 Martin Gilday, 35, married, of Kogarah (NSW).

Pilot Officer Lewis died of injuries 4 days later
