Lincoln John Thomas Alfred

Born 3 July 1915 in Hobart to Sydney Robert Charles Cousens and his wife Eliza (nee Sylvester), he enlisted 10^th July 1940 at North Hobart Tasmania.

John was a private with the 2/40 Australian Infantry Battalion, and died on 21 October 1943 as a POW. His is commemorated at the Thanbyuzayat War Cemetary.
