Lockwood Walter Edward

 

 

 

Born 3 Aug 1906 Devonport Tasmania to George and Ella May Lockwood (nee Laycock) Pte Lockwood was a farmer at Beauty Point when he enlisted in 2/43 AIF. 

The following was reported in The Mercury 21 Nov 1942

Mr and Mrs S. J. Andrews, of Wesley Vale, have been advised that Pte W. Lockwood, of Wesley Vale, has been killed in action in the Middle East.
