McCabe Angus Wolsey

 

Born Longford Tasmania to the Reverend Francis Joseph and Ann Muir McCabe of Holy Trinity Church Hobart, Angus was married and a schoolteacher when he enlisted and was posted to 4th Australian Infantry Brigade Sig. Section.  He lost his life in New Guinea where he died from wounds received.

At the time of his death Angus was married and his wife was living in Toowoomba Queensland .

His brother, Donald Wolsey McCabe lost his life when H.M.A.S. Sydney was lost with all hands on 19th. November 1941
