McDonald Frank Clifford Edwin

 

Born Launceston Tasmania to Frank Victor and Ida McDonald Pte McDonald was a casemaker before enlisting in the 2/23 Australian Infantry Battalion.

Mrs S. C. Chick. Lilydale has received advice that her grandson Pte Clifford McDonald, died of wounds in New Guinea on Nov 6

Pte McDonald was born at Launceston, and was the son of Mr and Mrs Frank McDonald, of Melbourne. He also served in the Middle East. Another grandson, PteAllen Chick of St. Helens, is a prisoner of war in Java.
