MEDHURST.-In fondest memory of our dear son, Pte R. L. (Ray), who was accidentally killed in Queensland on April 27, 1944.

Just a year ago today, dear Ray, since you were called away;

Your duty, dear, was nobly done.

We are proud indeed' to call you our son.

To think, we did not see you alive again will always bring regret.

But the ones who loved you dearly Are the ones that won't forget.

Inserted by his loving mother, father, sisters, and brothers. 

'MEDHURST.-In loving memory of our dear brother and our uncle ' Pte' Raymond Lyell (Bub), Nb : 12264, AU, accidentally killed somewhere in Queensland on April 27 ; 1944.

Dearer to us than words can tell was the brother we lost and loved so well;

A cheerful smile, a heart of gold, The dearest brother this world could hold.

Inserted by his loving brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Beatrice nieces. Lois and Gladys, and nephew Raymond, Allan Vale, Great Lake.
