Milne William Thomas

 

KILLED IN ACTION

Tho late Cpl. W. T. Milne, who was the second son of Mrs. M. Milne, of 34 Wenvoe street, Devonport, and the

late Mr. T. Milne, was with tho 2/-40th Battalion in Timor when the Japanese overran that territory in 1942. Ho was reported a P.O.W., but has now been reported killed in action at that time. Ho enlisted 5 years ago at the ago of 18, when his parents resided at Mooreville Road Burnie.
