Moore Gordon Albert

Born 26 May 1916 at Scottsdale, Tasmania, the son of Albert Edward Moore and Rose Elizabeth Jenkins and was married 13 Sep 1939 at Scottsdale. There were two children to the marriage Barbara Dawn and Richard Gordon.

Gordon Albert served with the 2/12 Australian Infantry Battalion along with his brother

Noel Leslie Moore who was killed in action in the Tobruk campaign.

He was killed in action in New Guinea and was buried at the Bomana War Cemetery.
