R.A.A.F. Casualty

Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Morgan, of South Burnie, have been advised that their son, Sgt.-Pilot Wesley Morgan, is reported missing and is believed to have lost his life as a result of air operations, on January 12. Sgt Morgan joined the R.A.A.F. 13 months ago and received his wings after six months' training. He was 24 years of age and was born at Wynyard. He lived in Burnie for-4 years before he enlisted. Besides having been a prominent member of the Surf Life-Saving Club, he was captain of the Baptist Hockey Club, and played cricket and tennis.
