Born 17 Oct 1918 Driffield St Queenstown Tasmania to Arthur Leslie and Mary Angelina Nunn (nee Deegan)  

The Mercury 5 Feb 1944

NUNN.-Died of wounds, on January 22, 1944, Bernard Thomas Roy, beloved third eldest son of Mrs and the late A L. Nunn, loving brother of Charles Arthur, (Paddy)AIF, Jeune (Mrs Hevey), Robert (RAAF), Kathleen, and Roma, in his 25th year. RIP.

Pte Nunn who died of wounds in New Guinea on Jan 22 in his 23rd year. Pte Nunn was the third son of Mrs M. Nunn, of Hobart and the late Mr A. L. Nunn, formerly of New Norfolk. He enlisted four years ago and served in Greece, Crete. Syria and Tobruk.
