Oliver Rex Robert Dare Born 19th
June 1923 H.M.A.S. Canberra, a 9850-ton heavy
cruiser of the British In early August 1942,
the cruiser participated in Operation "Watchtower", the
invasion of
Guadalcanal and Tulagi in the southern Rex Robert Dare Oliver was posted missing, presumed drowned with loss of ship on 9th August 1942.
