World War 11 Casualties
Parker Willis James Born Swansea Tasmania 11 December 1922 to Dr George Musgrave and Lillian Charlotte Parker (nee Miles) he was a sheep farmer when he enlisted in the AIF. He was killed in action Bougainville Island 6th February 1945 and is commemorated St. Mark’s Bellerive and also at the Launceston Grammar School Memorial Chapel.
A carved wooden Alms box commemorates Willis James Parker who was killed in action at Tsimba Ridge on Bougainville in February 1945 during World War Two.
