Peck Walter

Studio portrait of TX3103 Private (Pte) Walter Peck, 2/40 Battalion, of Longford Tas. The 2/40th was part of Sparrow Force which defended the Penfui airfield in Timor, the operational base for RAAF Hudson Bombers. Pte Peck was killed in action on 21 February 1942 during the Japanese attack on Timor, aged 35.
