Born Launceston Tasmania to Percy Harold and Ella Alice Pennington, Cyril Ronald was a labourer before enlisting in the 2/4 Australian Infantry Battalion

PENNINGTON.OnAugust 6, 1944 at 111th AGH. Campbell Town, TX597Ö, Pte Cyril Ronald Pennington, dearly beloved second son of Mr and Mrs P. H. Pennington, of 122 George Town Rd., Launceston, late of Derby, and loved brother of Harold, RAAF, Max. Alice, and Betty, aged 22 years.
