Peppin Henry H Howard

 

 

 

Born Hobart Tasmania to Henry Hoskyn and Alice Blance Peppin, Henry was listed as a shipping clerk when he enlisted and was posted to the 7th Australian Division as a driver.  

On 27th November 1942 Japanese aircraft bombed the Field Ambulance’s Main Dressing station at Soputa New Guinea and Henry Peppin was one of the driver’s killed.  

He was later reburied at the Bomana War Cemetery
