Polson Gordon John

 

 

Born 15 Aug 1916 Upper Burnie Tasmania to James and Louisa Polson (nee Bilson) Pte Polson was a carrier before he enlisted in army and was posted to 7 Div Salvage Unit, Australian Army Salvage Service. 

He accidently drowned 5 April 1944 in New Guinea and is commemorated in the Lae War Cemetery
