Purton William Bloxham

 

Born Hobart , Tasmania William Bloxham Purton was a pilot with Qantas and also a member of R.A.A.F Reserve (Civil Aircrew) who lost his life trying to evacuate civilians before the fall of Java to Broome in Western Australia .
