Mr and Mrs W. Ramsay, 48 Augusta Rd., New Town, have received official advice that their son, Bdr J. L, Ramsay, has been reported missing, believed dead, while a prisoner of war after July 1, 1942. It was later determined that he was a prisoner of war on board the “Montevideo Maru” which was torpedoed and sunk by the American submarine “Sturgeon”
