The son of Arthur and Leah Beatrice Ranson (nee Chapple) died from a compound fracture of the skull and Cerebral Haemorrhage.  Buried 8 Aug 1944 Adelaide War Cemetery Northern Territory

RANSON.-Errol Chapple, Sig, TX12016,died August 7, 1944, at 107th AGH, Australia, result of accident, second beloved youngest son of Mr and Mrs A. Ranson, Scottsdale, loved brother of Freda (Mrs W. Gerke, Millar Millar, Queensland), Elliott and Hilton (Scottsdale), Trevor (Launceston), Spencer, Clarence, and Stanley (Scottsdale), aged 21 years 11 months.
