Rice Keith Thomas

Born 8^th November 1919 Tunnel Tasmania, enlisted 13 Nov 1940 and was posted to the 2/40^th Infantry Battalion. 

He was a prisoner of war in Thailand when the Japanese decided to move the fittest of the prisoners to Japan.  Prisoners were loaded onto various vessels with Pte Rice being onboard the Tamahoko Maru which was sunk 24^th June 1944.
