Rowe Donald Duncan
KILLED IN ACTION Pte.Donald Rowe of Abbotsham, who was killed in action in New Guinea, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. .1. Rowe Abbotsham, and was 25 years of age. He enlisted in 1940 and served in the Middle East, being one of the last to leave Tobruk. He then served in New Guinea, fighting through the Owen Stanley ranges and onwards until he was killed. He was unmarried. Advocate Burnie 9 Feb 1944
