TASMANIAN KILLED IN ACTION

Mr and Mrs J Rundle of Burnie, were advised yesterday that their son Pte Rothwell Leonard Rundle, had been killed in action with the A IF

Pte Rundle was born at Melrose near Devonport His parents moved to Elliott, where he spent his boyhood After having left Burnie High School, he joined his father on a farm at Elliott He enlisted in Queensland Immediately after the outbreak of war.
